We’re best suited to engagements where there’s a real architectural decision to be made — not just a ticket to close. That can be a focused 30-day audit and recommendation, a multi-month delivery engagement, or an ongoing consulting relationship. How do you charge — fixed fee, time and materials, or retainer?

All three, depending on the engagement type. Fixed fee for scoped deliverables (audits, architecture reviews, specific builds). Time and materials for ongoing or exploratory work. Retainer for organizations that need consistent senior engineering availability without the overhead of a full-time hire. We scope this in the initial consultation based on what actually fits the situation.
