Embedded analytics is the integration of analytical capabilities and data visualizations into another software application. It is about embedding real-time reports and dashboards. There is even the option to do something called white labeling, where the analytics platform is completely re-branded to blend in with the look and feel of the rest of the applications.

The relationship between embedded analytics and business intelligence (BI) is embedded analytics is a way of utilizing business intelligence. It takes on the role of providing an understanding and visualization of business data but does it outside the confines of a traditional BI system.
